Türki̇yeIslamoglu Tekstil, a high leading company in its sector, started production in the velvet sector in an area of 500 m² in 2004, and the Islamoğlu Tekstil, which currently has a total indoor area of 10.000 m², together with its 200 employees 8.000.000 pieces of prayer rugs and 5.000.000 m² of upholstery fabric per year aswell as 4,000,000 m² of velvet carpets. With this production, it is taking firm steps towards becoming the largest velvet industry, and it also makes a significant contribution to the Turkish economy with its exports to 42 countries.
